Mathematics Education Major

Bachelor of Science Degree

Mathematics grid

Learning mathematics is studying God’s thoughts after Him, for all mathematical laws are God’s laws. Our knowledge of God’s absolute mathematical laws may be incomplete or at times in error, but that is a human frailty and thus does not indicate relativity in mathematical laws. Man’s task is to search out the laws of the universe.

A student with a high school precalculus course may begin his mathematics sequence with MA 221 Calculus I and take two upper-level mathematics courses in lieu of MA 122 College Algebra II and MA 131 College Trigonometry. EG 241 may be taken as a mathe matics elective (minimum grade of “C”).

Academic Program Fee: $90 per semester or $22.50 per payment
