The Dale Horton Auditorium is named in honor of Jesse Dale Horton, father of PCC’s founder Dr. Arlin Horton. With a capacity of 3,500, it’s one of the largest performing arts auditoriums in the Southeast. The auditorium seating was originally designed for the Lincoln Center in Washington, D.C., but that’s not all that makes this building unique. Check out the 250,000-pound California clay mural on the circular lobby wall. It depicts biblical events from Creation all the way to the Second Coming of Christ.

If you love organ music, you’ll be interested in visiting Glenda, the classic 3-manual pipe organ similar to those featured in major concert halls. PCC purchased the organ from a church in south Florida, then added additional pipes, a harp rank, and a French-style center principal (built in Ohio by America’s finest pipe builder). PCC’s keyboard students study artistry on a true pipe organ rather than an electronic substitute.
