About PCC

Rawson Chapel

In 1992, PCC purchased a church complex adjacent to campus, and after extensive renovation, the buildings became the Rawson Chapel, Fellowship Hall, and nursery for faculty/staff children. The multi-purpose facilities function well for performing arts events, weddings, receptions, and fellowships. In 2010–11, new renovations added a covered entrance, expanded parking, landscaping, and interior improvements. The Chapel also features a classic style, 3-manual pipe organ similar to those in major concert halls. PCC purchased the organ from a church in south Florida, then added additional pipes, a harp rank, and a French-style center principal which was custom built in Ohio by America’s finest pipe builder. This grand classic organ allows keyboard majors to study artistry on a true pipe organ rather than an electronic substitute.
