Scholarships

The Pensacola Christian College scholarships listed below are made available by A Beka® Foundation, Inc. A limited number of scholarships are available to qualified students, so apply online today!

Christian Service Scholarship ($2,500–$4,000)

  • Available to a qualified applicant who has a parent serving full-time in a Christian ministry that is Bible-believing. By “full-time ministry” we mean pastor, missionary, Christian school teacher, etc.
  • Recipients must maintain a 2.00 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • The scholarship will be reviewed for renewal each year by the Scholarship Committee. An individual recipient’s scholarship may be canceled at any time at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee on the recommendation of the College Administration.
  • Up to $1,000 applied to the student’s tuition at the end of the second, fourth, sixth, and eighth semesters of consecutive attendance at PCC. (If the student is enrolled in the One-Year-Free program, the eighth semester payment will not be applied.) Student must complete each consecutive year as a full-time student to receive the scholarship benefit for that year and future years.

Ministerial Scholarship ($2,500–$4,000)

  • Available to a qualified applicant who has declared a Bible major (including concentrations in pastoral ministries, youth ministries, missions, and music ministries); intends to be a minister of the gospel; and comes from a church that is Bible-believing.
  • Must have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.00 or higher.
  • Recipients must maintain a 2.00 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • Up to $1,000 applied to the student’s tuition at the end of the second, fourth, sixth, and eighth semesters of consecutive attendance at PCC. (If the student is enrolled in the One-Year-Free program, the eighth semester payment will not be applied.) Student must complete each consecutive year as a full-time student to receive the scholarship benefit for that year and future years.

Armed Services Scholarship ($2,500–$4,000)

  • Available to an applicant who qualifies in one of the following ways:
    • Honorably discharged from the U.S. armed forces (must submit DD Form 214 showing at least 3 years of active duty)
    • Parent currently serving in the U.S. armed forces (active duty and/or Selected Reserve—must submit parent’s military personnel record showing at least 10 years of service)
    • Parent who served in the U.S. armed forces and died or was permanently and totally disabled while on active duty (must submit parent’s DD Form 214)
  • Recipients must maintain a 2.00 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • Up to $1,000 applied to the student's tuition at the end of the second, fourth, sixth, and eighth semesters of consecutive attendance at PCC. (If the student is enrolled in the One-Year-Free program, the eighth semester payment will not be applied.) Student must complete each consecutive year as a full-time student to receive the scholarship benefit for that year and future years.

Academic Honors Scholarship ($2,000–$3,200)

  • Available to an applicant who qualifies in one of the following ways:
    • Graduates as valedictorian or salutatorian of a class of six or more students
    • Scores a minimum composite score of 25 on the ACT
    • Scores a minimum total of 1150 on the critical reading and math portions of the SAT
    If the applicant is the valedictorian or salutatorian, a letter from the school administrator attesting to this fact must be sent. If the applicant’s qualification is based on his ACT or SAT score, he must have an official copy of his score sent directly to the College. This can be done automatically if you specify our college ACT number 0707 or our SAT number 5970 when you register for these tests.
  • Must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.50 or higher.
  • Recipients must maintain a 3.20 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • Up to $800 applied to the student's tuition at the end of the second, fourth, sixth, and eighth semesters of consecutive attendance at PCC. (If the student is enrolled in the One-Year-Free program, the eighth semester payment will not be applied.) Student must complete each consecutive year as a full-time student to receive the scholarship benefit for that year and future years.

Teacher Education Scholarship ($1,000–$1,500)

  • Available to a qualified applicant who has declared an education major.
  • Must have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.00 or higher.
  • Recipients must maintain a 2.00 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • Up to $375 applied to the student's tuition at the end of the second, fourth, sixth, and eighth semesters of consecutive attendance at PCC. (If the student is enrolled in the One-Year-Free program, the eighth semester payment will not be applied.) Student must complete each consecutive year as a full-time student to receive the scholarship benefit for that year and future years

Alumni Scholarship ($700–$1,000)

  • Available to a qualified applicant whose parent graduated from PCC in a four-year undergraduate program.
  • Recipients must maintain a 2.00 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • Up to $250 applied to the student's tuition at the end of the second, fourth, sixth, and eighth semesters of consecutive attendance at PCC. (If the student is enrolled in the One-Year-Free program, the eighth semester payment will not be applied.) Student must complete each consecutive year as a full-time student to receive the scholarship benefit for that year and future years.

A Beka Academy Tuition Scholarship (Amount varies)

  • Available to a qualified applicant who completed at least a full 12th grade enrollment through A Beka Academy.
  • Must be enrolled as a student at PCC within one year of high school graduation.
  • Recipients must maintain a 2.00 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • The scholarship amount is calculated by totaling the tuition fees paid (Grades 9–12) for video home school courses taken through A Beka Academy. The tuition scholarship amount is divided by four years and will be applied to the student's tuition at the end of the second, fourth, sixth, and eighth semesters of consecutive attendance at PCC. Student must complete each consecutive year as a full-time student to receive the scholarship benefit for that year and future years.
  • May not be combined with the One-Year-Free program.

Scholarship Qualifications

  • Applicants must be first-time freshmen who are U.S. or Canadian citizens.
  • Applicants must declare a four-year major.
  • Applicants may receive only one scholarship.
  • Except where noted, applicants qualifying for scholarships may also apply for the One-Year-Free program and/or work assistance for additional financial aid.
  • Scholarship applications for the fall semester must be submitted by June 15 (spring semester by December 1).

A Beka® Foundation reserves the right to make changes in these scholarship programs at its discretion.
