Scholarships

The scholarships listed below are made available by A Beka® Foundation, Inc. Students who qualify may receive only one of the following scholarships. A limited number of scholarships are available. Apply online today!

Pensacola Christian College scholarships are available to qualified residence hall students with financial need. These scholarships are made available by A Beka® Foundation, Inc.

Scholarship Qualifications

All scholarship applicants must meet these general qualifications:

  • Must be a residence hall first-time freshman who is a United States citizen.
  • Must sign the Statement of Intent and declare a four-year major.
  • Scholarship applications for the fall semester must be submitted or postmarked by August 1 (spring semester by December 15).

Applications received by the College by March 1 are given first consideration. When scholarships are awarded, the Scholarship Committee will officially notify each recipient in writing.

$4,000 Christian Service Scholarship

  • Available to a qualified applicant who has a parent serving full-time in a Christian ministry that is Bible-believing. By "full-time ministry" we mean pastor, missionary, Christian school teacher, etc.
  • Recipients must maintain a 2.00 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • The scholarship will be reviewed for renewal each year by the Scholarship Committee. An individual recipient's scholarship may be canceled at any time at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee on the recommendation of the College Administration.
  • $1,000 applied to the student's tuition at the end of the second, fourth, sixth, and eighth semesters of consecutive attendance at PCC. Student must complete each consecutive year as a full-time residence hall student to receive the scholarship benefit for that year and future years.

$4,000 Ministerial Scholarship

  • Available to a qualified applicant who has declared a Bible major (including concentrations in pastoral ministries, youth ministries, missions, and music ministries); intends to be a minister of the gospel; and comes from a church that is Bible-believing.
  • Must have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.00 or higher.
  • Recipients must maintain a 2.00 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • $1,000 applied to the student's tuition at the end of the second, fourth, sixth, and eighth semesters of consecutive attendance at PCC. Student must complete each consecutive year as a full-time residence hall student to receive the scholarship benefit for that year and future years.

$3,200 Academic Honors Scholarship

  • Available to an applicant who qualifies in one of the following ways:
    • Graduate as valedictorian or salutatorian of a class of six or more students
    • Score a minimum composite score of 25 on the ACT
    • Score a minimum total of 1140 on the critical reading and math portions of the SAT
    If the applicant is the valedictorian or salutatorian, a letter from the school administrator attesting to this fact must be sent. If the applicant's qualification is based on his ACT or SAT score, he must have an official copy of his score sent directly to the College. This can be done automatically if you specify our college ACT number 0707 or our SAT number 5970 when you register for these tests.
  • Must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.50 or higher.
  • Recipients must maintain a 3.20 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • $800 applied to the student's tuition at the end of the second, fourth, sixth, and eighth semesters of consecutive attendance at PCC. Student must complete each consecutive year as a full-time residence hall student to receive the scholarship benefit for that year and future years.

$1,500 Art Scholarship

  • Available to a qualified applicant who has declared a visual arts major (including concentrations in studio art or graphic design).
  • Must have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.00 or higher.
  • Recipients must maintain a 2.00 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • $500 applied to the student's tuition at the end of the fourth, sixth, and eighth semesters of consecutive attendance at PCC. Student must complete each consecutive year as a full-time residence hall student to receive the scholarship benefit for that year and future years.

$1,500 Music Scholarship

  • Available to a qualified applicant who has declared a music major or a secondary education major with a concentration in music.
  • Written recommendation required from the student's high school music teacher or private music instructor. It must be sent directly to the College by the teacher.
  • Must have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.00 or higher.
  • Recipients must maintain a 2.00 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • $500 applied to the student's tuition at the end of the fourth, sixth, and eighth semesters of consecutive attendance at PCC. Student must complete each consecutive year as a full-time residence hall student to receive the scholarship benefit for that year and future years.

$1,500 Teacher Education Scholarship

  • Available to a qualified applicant who has declared an education major.
  • Must have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.00 or higher.
  • Recipients must maintain a 2.00 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • $500 applied to the student's tuition at the end of the fourth, sixth, and eighth semesters of consecutive attendance at PCC. Student must complete each consecutive year as a full-time residence hall student to receive the scholarship benefit for that year and future years.

$1,000 Alumni Scholarship

  • Available to a qualified applicant whose parent graduated from PCC in a four-year undergraduate program.
  • Recipients must maintain a 2.00 GPA for the year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship.
  • $1,000 applied to the student's tuition at the end of the second semester of consecutive attendance at PCC. Student must complete the year as a full-time residence hall student to receive the scholarship benefit.

A Beka Academy Tuition Scholarship

  • Available to a qualified applicant who completed at least a full 12th grade enrollment through A Beka Academy.
  • Must be enrolled as a student at PCC within one year of high school graduation.
  • Recipients must maintain a 2.00 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • The scholarship amount is calculated by totaling the tuition fees paid (Grades 9–12) for video home school courses taken through A Beka Academy. The tuition scholarship amount is divided by four years and will be applied to the student's tuition at the end of the second, fourth, sixth, and eighth semesters of consecutive attendance at PCC. Student must complete each consecutive year as a full-time residence hall student to receive the scholarship benefit for that year and future years.

Other Scholarship Information

  • Scholarships will be granted on the basis of the student's qualifications and financial need.
  • Qualified applicants may receive only one scholarship; however, they may apply for work assistance for additional financial aid.
  • Applicants participating in A Beka funded scholarships may not participate in the One-Year-Free at PCC offer.
  • A Beka® Foundation reserves the right to make changes in these scholarship programs at its discretion.
  • All scholarship applications will be acknowledged within 30 days.
