Benefits of PCC
Our low cost for tuition, room and board helps most students graduate debt free! Several options make it even more affordable:
- Qualified students can take advantage of a limited number of scholarships and loans.
- Convenient on-campus jobs help over 2,000 students every year work through college.
- A special hourly work program helps students with financial needs take care of college expenses.
*Tuition, room & board only (room and board may be taxable).
Open only to U.S. and Canadian citizens.
PCC’s big enough for you to choose from a wide variety of opportunities, yet small enough to make you feel comfortable. There’s a friendly, caring, personable atmosphere with a close sense of community in student groups, residence hall prayer groups, and classes.
You’ll be welcome at Campus Church, the local church on campus, and you’ll have many opportunities to serve in both Campus Church and the community. About 900 students serve in student-led community Christian service ministries each week.
Employers and graduate schools seek out PCC graduates because of their high ethical standard and strong reputation for excellence in knowledge and skills.
Qualified, experienced faculty members genuinely care about connecting with you and strive to prepare each student to serve the Lord as leaders in their fields.
PCC is accredited through the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS).
Customizable Class Schedule
Most classes meet two or three days a week, with multiple options available so that you can customize your schedule around work responsibilities or preferences.
A sophisticated security system with a 24-hour patrol keeps the campus safe. In addition, each residence hall’s lobby attendant allows only authorized individuals to enter.
Shopping, Food, and Fun
Life on campus is never boring with an indoor water park, bowling, ice skating, rock climbing, swimming, paintball, team sports (at the intercollegiate level with the Eagles and Lady Eagles and at the intramural level with collegians), concerts, plays, and tons of other things to do. With the Campus Store in the Commons, convenience stores in the residence halls, and a walk-in clinic, you can find almost everything you need right on campus.
Near the campus are plenty of places to shop, eat, and explore. Malls, restaurants, historical sites, the National
Naval Aviation Museum, air shows by the Navy’s Blue Angels precision flying team, and of course the white-sand beaches are favorite places for students to spend free time. Student or collegian outings with activities like canoeing, dolphin cruises, fall festivals, and Double-A minor league baseball or SPHL hockey games give more opportunities to make memories.
Any student can bring a vehicle, but you can also take a shuttle from PCC to the mall, Walmart, and Walgreens on Saturdays for $1 round trip.
