Division of Communications and Fine Arts

Mr. Tim Willingham, Dean of Communications and Fine Arts

The purpose of this division is to equip students to share Christ through the visual arts, media arts, interpretive speech, or music. Built upon a biblical foundation of the arts, students are trained to be proficient in their creative discipline and excellent in their techniques.

Learning Objectives

  1. Exemplify character, competence, and Christian faith in their personal and professional lives.
  2. Demonstrate a biblical worldview in their ethical and moral choices in both personal and professional environments.
  3. Communicate concisely, effectively, and respectfully with others both within and outside of their chosen profession.
  4. Develop sensitivity to recognize worldly influences prevalent in the creative culture and marketplace.
  5. Use current technology and computer applications appropriately in their creative field.
  6. Successfully fill leadership roles in their creative field.
