Candidacy

Business students

A graduate student is required to maintain a 3.00 grade point average (based on a 4.00 scale) while completing his graduate studies.

Doctoral Student

A student may not consider himself a candidate for a doctoral degree until he has (1) completed all course work on campus, (2) passed his written and oral comprehensive examinations, and (3) received the College Doctoral Committee’s approval of his prospectus.

Master of Fine Arts Student

A student may not consider himself a candidate for a Master of Fine Arts degree until he has completed a minimum of 30 hours in residence with a 3.0 grade point average, including AR 641 Graduate Studio.

Education Specialist:

A student may not consider himself a candidate for an Education Specialist degree until he has completed at least one full semester (a minimum of 12 hours in residence) with a 3.00 grade point average as a graduate student at Pensacola Christian College.

Master’s Student:

A student may not consider himself a candidate for a master’s degree until all undergraduate deficiencies have been removed and he has completed at least one full semester (a minimum of 9 hours in residence) with a 3.00 grade point average as a graduate student at Pensacola Christian College.
