In today’s dynamic business environment, there is a clarion call for men and women of integrity willing to serve Christ and others in a spirit of humility while implementing sound business principles and leadership skills. Whether involved in ministry or in the business profession, PCC’s Master of Business Administration degree will prepare the servant-leader with practical decision-making tools by utilizing a strong academic program that is both affordable and attractive to students of all academic and workplace backgrounds. The Student, while gaining valuable business management skills in several functional areas, will also be equipped and further strengthened in biblical principles. The M.B.A. curriculum is application-oriented and provides the student with the technological, quantitative, and qualitative skills to meet the challenges of the 21st century. Special emphasis is given to meet the needs of full-time Christian ministry.
Thirty semester credit hours of work may be completed in four consecutive semesters, including a Preterm session (August 2009). Students may satisfy core competencies while taking M.B.A. courses. In such a situation, the time required to complete the M.B.A. degree could be expected to increase.
See General Admission Requirements. An applicant is not required to have majored in business on the undergraduate level. However, certain core competencies from undergraduate courses must be demonstrated to register for some required M.B.A. courses. Core competencies are listed below (along with PCC courses) which meet requirements. A student may begin M.B.A. courses prior to meeting all competency requirements.
