#PCCTurkeyBowl: A Flavorful Tradition

Spread out a blanket. Grab a seat on Eagle Field. Stock up on snacks from the concession stands. And get ready to cheer! This isn’t any ol’ game—it’s the annual Turkey Bowl Championship that has spiced up Thanksgiving Day at PCC for over forty years.

You won’t want to miss this year’s battle of the serpents as the Epsilon Chi Vipers and the Chi Sigma Cobras face off for the first time ever. Since their founding in 1977, the Chi Sigma Cobras have won eight Turkey Bowl Championships, seeing their last victory in 1993. The Epsilon Chi Vipers, a younger collegian established in 2000, competed in their first Turkey Bowl in 2012.

Of course, you’ll want to stay tuned for the halftime show that never fails to wow the crowds. Previous shows include a parachute team, a monster truck show, and a motocross team that performed daredevil spins through the air.

Even if you can’t make it out to Eagle Field on Thanksgiving Day, you can always join the excitement via live streaming. For the PCC family, the Turkey Bowl isn’t just a game—it’s an event to anticipate and a memory to savor.
