Volleyball CampVolleyball Camp focuses on improving basic skills that lead to successful playing. Time will be spent learning about and practicing serving, passing, spiking, and blocking. Instructors work with individuals to analyze their abilities and smooth out problem areas. Skills are tested in actual games during the week.

Competition is held in several areas: three-on-three, serving, and skills. Winners receive trophies.

Participants will enjoy fellowship with other players from around the country. Throughout the week, they will be assigned to various teams for competition, giving opportunities to meet others and practice teamwork.

Instructional Staff
Landra Grant, coach of the Lady Eagles volleyball team, serves as athletic director at PCC and teaches physical education classes, including volleyball. She has directed the summer Volleyball Camp since its start. Her energetic personality and outstanding teaching skills make the camp enjoyable and effective.

Team Week
This special week is designed to strengthen team spirit and ability for both varsity and junior varsity teams and coaches. All campers who attend this week need to be with a team and coach. Team week application deadline is June 30. After June 30, call first to confirm availability before sending applications.

Cost
The total cost for each camper is $185 which includes housing, meals, instruction, and materials. A deposit of $50 is required at time of application. The balance is to be paid upon arrival.

Coaches
If a school sends six or more campers in one week to Volleyball Camp, one coach from that school may attend the camp free of charge and will stay with the campers. A coach must accompany each team attending team week.

What do I need to bring? When do I arrive and depart? What if I need to cancel?
