What to Bring |

Please bring Bible, notebook, pencil, towels, pillow, linens for a single bed (or sleeping bag), and an umbrella. You may wish to bring personal athletic equipment such as swimwear and tennis racket. Campers on special diets must bring their own necessary supplements Your camp will be packed with fun activities. Do not bring fireworks, ammunition, guns, weapons, scooters, skateboards, magazines, or any type of electronic device, including, but not limited to cell phones, CD, DVD, MP3, or other music/media players, computers, PDAs, radios, TVs, and video games. Youth Outreach Ministry will not be held responsible for the loss of personal property. Boys should wear casual pants, wind pants, or jeans for all free-time activities. Shorts may be worn for basketball only. Shirts should not have any pictures or writing. Collared shirts are needed for academic camps. Dress shirt, dress slacks, and a tie are needed for performances and church services. Swimwear should be trunk-style only. All boys should have their hair neat and well-trimmed so that the hair is off the collar and the ears showing (no unique cuts or colored hair). Jewelry other than rings or a watch may not be worn. Girls should wear modest, knee-length skirts. For sporting activities, culottes or knee-length walking shorts that are full may be worn; please no slacks, jeans, capri pants, or midriff tops. Shirts should not have any pictures or writing. Low necklines (front or back) are not acceptable attire. Dresses are needed for performances and church services. Swimsuits should be modest and one piece (no French-cuts, tankinis, or bikinis). Summer Music Academy and Speech/Drama Camp girls should bring a dark, solid-color dress (not sleeveless) for concerts and recitals. Female cellists should bring full skirts. Youth Outreach Ministry reserves the right to ask anyone to change his or her clothing if, in the opinion of the staff, it does not comply with these standards. |
