Graphic Design

Pensacola Christian College’s Visual Art Department in the Division of Visual and Performing Arts is seeking candidates for a full-time Graphic Design faculty position.

Key responsibilities include preparing and teaching courses from a Christian perspective; advising students; and contributing to curriculum development as needed. Applicants should possess a strong desire to instill biblical values through teaching and personal example and must evidence mastery of subject content.

A master of fine arts (M.F.A.) degree in graphic design from an accredited institution and previous teaching experience are preferred; candidates with a master’s degree in graphic design from an accredited institution will be considered. Prospects with notable graphic design experience, whether retiring from the field or simply desiring to change careers to impart experience to students in the classroom, are welcome to inquire.

Marketing

Pensacola Christian College’s Business Department in the Division of Professional Studies is seeking candidates for a full-time Management/Marketing faculty position.

Key responsibilities include preparing and teaching courses from a Christian perspective; advising students; and contributing to curriculum development as needed. Applicants should possess a strong desire to instill biblical values through teaching and personal example and must evidence mastery of subject content.

A doctoral degree in management or marketing from an accredited institution and previous teaching experience are preferred; candidates with a master’s degree in management or marketing from an accredited institution will be considered. Prospects with considerable business experience, whether retiring from the field or simply desiring to change careers to impart experience to students in the classroom, are welcome to inquire.

Mathematics

Pensacola Christian College’s Natural Sciences Department in the Division of Arts and Sciences is seeking candidates for a full-time faculty position in mathematics.

Key responsibilities include preparing and teaching courses from a Christian perspective; advising students; and contributing to curriculum development as needed. Applicants should possess a strong desire to instill biblical values through teaching and personal example and must evidence mastery of subject content.

A doctoral degree in mathematics or a related field from an accredited institution is desired. Mathematics faculty may have classes from freshman to graduate levels; previous teaching experience is preferred. Prospects with related experience, whether retiring from the field or simply desiring to change careers to impart mathematics experience to students in the classroom, are welcome to make inquiry.

Mechanical Engineering

Pensacola Christian College’s Engineering Department in the Division of Arts and Sciences is seeking candidates for a full-time faculty position in the mechanical engineering concentration.

Key responsibilities include preparing and teaching courses from a Christian perspective; advising students; and contributing to curriculum development as needed. Applicants should possess a strong desire to instill biblical values through teaching and personal example and must evidence mastery of subject content.

A doctorate or master’s degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited institution is required. Although specialty in an area is expected, the applicant must be able to teach engineering science and engineering design courses at all levels of the undergraduate curriculum. Prospects with related experience, whether retiring from the field or simply desiring to change careers to impart engineering experience to students in the classroom, are welcome to make inquiry.

Speech

Pensacola Christian College’s Division of Visual and Performing Arts is seeking candidates for full-time speech faculty positions.

Key responsibilities include giving private speech lessons; preparing and teaching courses from a Christian perspective; advising students; evaluating student performance; and contributing to curriculum development as needed. Applicants should possess a strong desire to instill biblical values through teaching and personal example and must evidence mastery of subject content.

A master’s degree in speech, dramatics, or related concentration is required. A terminal degree and previous teaching experience is preferred. Prospects with related experience, whether retiring from the field or simply desiring to change careers to impart experience to students in the classroom, are welcome to make inquiry.

Studio Art

Pensacola Christian College’s Visual Art Department in the Division of Visual and Performing Arts is seeking candidates for a full-time Studio Art faculty position.

Key responsibilities include preparing and teaching courses from a Christian perspective; advising students; and contributing to curriculum development as needed. Applicants should possess a strong desire to instill biblical values through teaching and personal example and must evidence mastery of subject content.

A master of fine arts (M.F.A.) degree in studio art and illustration from an accredited institution and previous teaching experience are preferred; candidates with a master’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution will be considered. Prospects with considerable studio art experience desiring to impart experience to students in the classroom are welcome to inquire.
