Solar-Powered Engineering Competition

After months of planning and testing, PCC Engineering students competed in the annual Engineering Competition held on PCC campus. Following predetermined specifications, five teams designed, built, and tested lawnmower-sized, solar-powered vehicles that competed in various challenges and races to earn top honors.

Open to all electrical and mechanical engineering majors (Fr.–Sr.), the competition challenged students to apply theories learned in the classroom to design practical, functional vehicles. By conducting thorough research and testing, each team used sound engineering principles to meet these challenges.
