Graduate Perspective

PCC’s medical office administration program definitely helped me transition from being a medical office worker to becoming a full-time medical transcriptionist. The typing, terminology, and English classes helped prepare me immensely. I type for a pulmonary group and a neurology group and am also a proofer. I knew that I wanted a job that would allow me to work at home when my husband and I had children. I was working for a pulmonary group in Virginia, and I inquired about the transcription company that they used. I actually type and proof work now for the office that I used to work for years ago.
