Courses such as advanced pathophysiology and pharmacology enhance the nurse’s knowledge base while subjects on research, curriculum development, and testing and evaluation prepare the nurse to critically examine and implement various teaching methods and outcomes. Upon completion of the Master of Science in Nursing program, the registered nurse is fully equipped to teach undergraduate nursing curricula using scriptural and traditional methodology.
