Personal debt has grown to become an epidemic in America and around the globe. To help restore financial health, organizations and ministries have sought to provide families and individuals with customized advice to help them get out of debt as well as learn to be good stewards of the things they’ve been given.

When Jessica Ross (’07) first heard of Dave Ramsey through Financial Peace University in 2003, she knew she wanted to be part of his company one day. Ramsey’s practical advice for avoiding debt and successfully managing finances resonated with her. “I absolutely loved Ramsey’s message, managing money (and so much more) God's way,” she said. “It became my dream to begin a career there someday. For over a decade, God prepared and trained me for this role through my PCC education as well as my experience at other jobs.”

Jessica’s favorite part about working on the EntreLeadership Team for Ramsey Solutions is the opportunities she has to share Christ with others. “We cross paths with so many people who think they're looking for advice when what they really need is Christ,” she said.

Now, as Jessica transitions into the role of business analyst for the EntreLeadership Team, she is excited to see what the future holds. “Previously, my main responsibilities included supporting the team, processing payments, building/maintaining dashboards, and budgeting/forecasting,” she said. “But now, this new position will better utilize my skills while also allowing me to continue to grow and take on new challenges.”

What makes Ramsey Solutions different from Jessica’s past employers is the company’s work ethic. “At Ramsey Solutions, family always comes first,” Jessica said. “So the day begins at 8:00 a.m. and concludes at 5:00 p.m. We don't stay late or work through lunch.”

Jessica believes her time at PCC as an office administration student prepared her for her current work. “PCC prepared me well for my role primarily in the area of time management,” she said. “I had to be a good steward of my time to complete tasks and meet deadlines.”

For Jessica, working at Ramsey Solutions doesn’t feel like work at all. “A wise man once said, ‘Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life,’” she said. “That is definitely what I do.”
