The humanities major from PCC will allow you to forge your unique professional path. As businesses and companies increasingly seek employees with broad liberal arts studies rather than a specific concentration, you’ll fill a need in the workforce. This major serves as a launchpad for you: whether you have a clear picture of your future or are unsure of what to study.

Combining general history, English, natural sciences, Bible, art, foreign language, and math with your chosen electives will let you customize your experience as you discover your interests and sharpen your skills. And you’ll graduate ready to travel the unique path that God has set before you.

Taught from a biblical perspective, your classes will shape you into a cultured, well‐rounded Christian professional equipped to serve the Lord in your chosen field. “I chose to study humanities at PCC because the degree seemed to offer a versatile education. By looking at the course list, I could see that I’d be learning a wide range of subjects, from trigonometry to foreign languages to creative writing. That wide range was attractive to me because I wanted to be ready for anything life might throw at me after graduation. I have always appreciated the standard of excellence and professionalism that PCC consistently displays. In this environment, I believe that I was prepared to conduct myself professionally and graciously with clients and associates.

Humanities is a well-rounded degree choice with a variety of courses to meet the requirements of many different career paths. Pensacola Christian College as well is a well-rounded institution with more than enough enriching extracurricular opportunities to supplement a degree and produce a student who is highly competitive in the professional world.”
