FAQs

All PCC students are required to attend Sunday and mid week church services. If you are a permanent resident of Pensacola and established in an approved home church, you may continue to attend.

Other on-campus participation requirements are largely determined by each student’s specific course load and area of study. Some examples include Opening Convocation, Chapel, Fine Arts Series, Sunday Reflections, Recitals/Forums, Bible Conference, Student Body Meetings. More details are available in the Student Handbook.

As a commuter student, you will be expected to follow the guidelines in the Student Handbook.

Yes, students who live off campus are eligible for the Work Assistance Program.

Commuter students are welcome to eat in the Four Winds, Varsity, or Grab N Go with a 5-meal pass purchased from the Business Office for $480 per semester. Students can split the $480 into four installments when signing up for the meal pass. This pass can be used for any meal through the week with the following guidelines:

  • 5 scans per week maximum
  • 3 scans per day maximum
  • 1 scan per meal maximum

If you bring lunch from home, you are welcome to eat in the Commons.

No, international town students do not pay travel funds.

Yes, commuter students can park on campus, but you will need to register your vehicle and obtain a parking permit from Security.

No. Commuter students, formerly called town students, live in the Pensacola area and commute to campus for classes.

Any student is eligible to live with their parents, grandparents, or a married aunt and uncle who are permanent residents of Pensacola. If you are under 23, parental permission must be obtained in writing to live with your grandparents or married aunt and uncle, and the Student Life Office will also need to approve the arrangements. Students 23 and older may also be approved to live off campus alone or with others of the same gender. Due to limited housing, married students live off campus and commute.

On average, more than 200 students commute to PCC every year.
