Junior Class Continues Outreach Efforts

This fall, nearly 100 students from the junior class gathered at the Hollice T. Williams Park in downtown Pensacola for a voluntary workday. Raking leaves, picking up litter, and collecting fallen branches, the students worked with determination and joy on their faces.

This spring, the class furthered their outreach by revisiting the park to continue cleaning it up and by hosting a basketball clinic for youth. According to the junior class officers,* “The reason we wanted to do this is because, as officers, we wanted to provide a way for students to get involved in ministry and understand the importance of ministry. The goal of Project Living Proof is to make our lives living proof of a God that does exist, a God that does love us, a God that does care and is still working.”
