On the Ball

The start of a brand-new year found the Eagles and Lady Eagles basketball teams on the court playing in Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, and Louisiana. After completing the rigorous but rewarding winter road trip, the teams are excited to begin the second half of the season. Mark Goetsch, athletic director and Eagles basketball coach, said, “An athlete is constantly in search of strength (physically and mentally) and power (explosiveness). God is the means of that strength and power, not our own making.”

This spring semester, the Lady Eagles are looking forward to hosting the NCCAA South Region Tournament for the first time. These games will be held in the Sports Center Arena February 26 and 27, and will determine which team makes it to the nationals.

Both the Eagles and Lady Eagles will play their first home games of the year on Friday, January 29, followed by another home game on Saturday, January 30. We hope you can make it to the Sports Center Arena to cheer on our teams with us. If you can’t, visit the Eagles’ live streaming page to watch online as well as to see other upcoming games to be live streamed.
