Since 1995, Dr. Doug Zila and his wife Karen have made Pensacola their home. Alumni themselves, the Zilas are proud to have seen two of their children graduate from PCC as well. Dr. Zila has worked for Abeka, Abeka Academy, and has taught on PCC faculty for 20 years. Having served with the Alumni Association in the past, Doug is excited to return and be involved in the planning, implementing, and overseeing of the alumni events and efforts that keep graduates connected to PCC.

Graduating with her master’s from PCC, Lauren oversees alumni connections by coordinating all events including Alumni Homecoming, Alumni Reconnects, and on-campus receptions. She assists with alumni efforts; manages social media, including Alumni Association Connect; and welcomes new graduates into the alumni community.

Having graduated as a business major with a marketing concentration, Garrison supports students and alumni with interview preparation, including coaching on best practices for resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn accounts. He also connects alumni and PCC students with businesses and recruiters while coordinating PCC’s recruitment events and mentorship program.
