Shoemakers

Time flies, especially when you’re juggling work, family, and service. Alumni Homecoming is the perfect opportunity to take a refreshing break from your busy schedule and reconnect with your alma mater!

Rest and relax for a fun weekend at PCC without any thought of to-do lists or required activities. All events are optional—allowing you to create a custom experience that lets you feel right at home.

See how the campus has improved and what’s stayed the same. You’ll be able to reconnect with old friends, experience the excitement of campus traditions, and enjoy a wonderful weekend with your family or friends.

Denise and I look forward to seeing you there.

Troy A. Shoemaker
President

Whether you have not attended an Alumni Homecoming yet or would like to again, this is the year! We are planning an exciting reunion of old friends and a celebration of all God has done. For over 50 years, God has allowed PCC to equip men and women to influence the world for Christ.

Return to campus in October for an Alumni Homecoming you won’t want to miss. You can look forward to sailing the Gulf on a dolphin cruise or exploring behind-the-scenes tours of campus buildings. Some highlights include a Kickoff Dinner with the President, a rivalry soccer game against Bob Jones University, and special guests. As you can imagine, this will surely be a weekend to remember.

Discover the latest campus updates, explore exclusive behind-the-scenes tours, and join in the excitement of Eagles game-day activities. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing weekend on the sparkling Gulf Coast or an exciting family getaway, you can create a custom schedule that includes all your favorite activities.

You are family! Our priority is for you to feel welcome, comfortable, and confident on campus. Here’s what you need to know:

The Kickoff Dinner and Reunion Brunch are business casual.

For recreational activities such as the campus tours, Alumni Tailgate, Dolphin Cruise, Camp o’ the Pines, and Sports Center, recreational or casual attire is appropriate.

  • Men—While visiting classes or chapel, casual pants and shirts are appropriate. Casual shirts and shorts (basketball/cargo, not runner styles) are acceptable for walking around campus or enjoying the Sports Center. A trunk-style swimsuit is needed if you want to use the water park.
  • Women—Dresses or casual skirts (knee-length) and shirts are appropriate while visiting classes, chapel, or church (no pants or jeans, please). Casual shirts and walking shorts extending to the kneecap or loose-fitting jeans, slacks, or capris are fine around campus after 5 p.m. or while enjoying the Sports Center. Pants are required for rock climbing. A conservative swimsuit that covers the midriff and a T-shirt are needed if you want to use the water park.

Clothing should be modest and appropriate for the occasion.

For more information, visit the guest dress guidelines.

The Sports Center has a wide range of activities for the whole family! Make sure to save time in your schedule for fun activities like ice skating, rock climbing, bowling, surfing, swimming, foosball, pool, ping-pong, inline skating, volleyball, racquetball, air hockey, miniature golf, and more.
