As a Christian school leader, you have to understand finance, philosophy, curriculum, current issues, and the fundamentals of leadership. You need practical knowledge that helps you handle challenges and create success for your school, but you don’t have unlimited time to study.

Your Master of Science in Educational Leadership will teach you what works and why. Because you’re learning from educators who’ve spent years (if not decades) in Christian school classrooms and administration, everything you learn will be practical for Christian schools and geared toward reaching lives for Christ.

Grow more skilled, more confident, and more inspired to make a difference as a Christian school leader.

Learning Outcomes

You’ll be able to

  • interpret the changing themes in American traditional education from the 1600s to the present,
  • exhibit a distinctively Christian-traditional philosophy of education as it applies to curriculum and methods of teaching,
  • assess the philosophical roots of major educational theories and current practice,
  • demonstrate graduate-level competence in written research and analysis,
  • apply biblical wisdom and character to leadership situations, and
  • plan the duties of a school leader.

Many of the things I have learned from the class lectures I might have also gained from personal reading, but I would have missed the added benefit of my instructors’ experience and detailed explanation of the topics. The instructors have developed their lectures over several years and from countless hours of research. Those lectures have saved me the time and expense of doing that same research.
