PCC keeps the cost of college even more affordable and predictable by offering additional scholarships. Specific scholarship amounts are set as 10% to 20% of current tuition and automatically increase correspondingly. The net value of scholarships, over four years, varies based on participation in the Fourth Year Tuition-Free program.

Scholarships Offered

  • Available to a qualified applicant who has a parent serving full-time in a Christian ministry that is Bible-believing. By “full-time ministry” we mean pastor, missionary, Christian school teacher, etc.
  • Recipients must maintain a 2.00 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • The scholarship will be reviewed for renewal each year by the Scholarship Committee. An individual recipient’s scholarship may be canceled at any time at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee on the recommendation of the College Administration.
  • A tuition benefit up to $8,120 (approximately $2,030 annually; 15% of total tuition) up to eight semesters of attendance as a full-time student after approval. If the student is enrolled in the Fourth Year Tuition-Free program, scholarship payments will not be applied during semesters the student is receiving the Fourth Year Tuition-Free benefit.

  • Available to a qualified applicant who has declared a Bible major (including concentrations in pastoral ministries, youth ministries, missions, and music ministries); intends to be a minister of the gospel; and comes from a church that is Bible-believing.
  • Must have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.00 or higher.
  • Recipients must maintain a 2.00 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • A tuition benefit up to $10,800 (approximately $2,700 annually; 20% of total tuition) up to eight semesters of attendance as a full-time student after approval.   • Available to an applicant who qualifies in one of the following ways:
    • Applicant was honorably discharged from the U.S. armed forces (must submit DD Form 214 showing at least 3 years of active duty or 6 years in Selected Reserve)
    • Applicant is completing a 6-year obligation in the Selected Reserve or has been honorably discharged from the Selected Reserve due to disability (must submit DD Form 2384-1 or DD 214).
    • Parent currently serving in the U.S. armed forces on active duty or Selected Reserve (must submit parent’s military personnel record showing at least 6 years of service)
    • Parent honorably discharged from the U.S. armed forces (active duty or Selected Reserve—must submit parent’s military personnel record or DD Form 214 showing at least 10 years of service)
    • Parent served in the U.S. armed forces and died or was permanently and totally disabled while on active duty (must submit parent’s DD Form 214)
  • Recipients must maintain a 2.00 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • A tuition benefit up to $5,400 (approximately $1,350 annually; 10% of total tuition) up to eight semesters of attendance as a full-time student after approval. If the student is enrolled in the Fourth Year Tuition-Free program, scholarship payments will not be applied during semesters the student is receiving the Fourth Year Tuition-Free benefit.

  • Available to an applicant who qualifies in one of the following ways:
    • Graduates as valedictorian or salutatorian of a class of six or more students
    • Scores a minimum composite score of 25 on the ACT
    • Scores a minimum total of 1200 on the SAT
    • Scores a minimum total of 80 on the CLT
    If the applicant is the valedictorian or salutatorian, we must receive a letter from the school administrator verifying that fact. If the applicant’s qualification is based on his ACT, SAT, or CLT score, he must have an official copy of his score sent directly to the College. This can be done automatically if you specify our college ACT number 0707 or our SAT number 5970 or if you choose PCC from the list of CLT colleges when you register for these tests.
  • Must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.50 or higher.
  • Recipients must maintain a 3.20 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • A tuition benefit up to $8,120 (approximately $2,030 annually; 15% of total tuition) up to eight semesters of attendance as a full-time student after approval. If the student is enrolled in the Fourth Year Tuition-Free program, scholarship payments will not be applied during semesters the student is receiving the Fourth Year Tuition-Free benefit.

  • Available to a qualified applicant whose parent graduated from PCC in a four-year undergraduate program.
  • Recipients must maintain a 2.00 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • A tuition benefit up to $5,400 (approximately $1,350 annually; 10% of total tuition) up to eight semesters of attendance as a full-time student after approval. If the student is enrolled in the Fourth Year Tuition-Free program, scholarship payments will not be applied during semesters the student is receiving the Fourth Year Tuition-Free benefit.

  • Available to a qualified applicant who completed at least a full 12th grade enrollment through Abeka Academy.
  • Must be enrolled as a student at PCC and attending within one year of high school graduation.
  • Recipients must maintain a 2.00 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • The scholarship amount is calculated by totaling the tuition fees paid (Grades 9–12) for video homeschool courses taken through Abeka Academy. The tuition benefit amount is divided up to eight semesters of attendance as a full-time student after approval. Student must complete consecutive semesters as a full-time student to continue to receive the scholarship benefit.
  • May not be combined with the Fourth Year Tuition-Free program.

Scholarship Qualifications

  • Applicants must be U.S. or Canadian citizens or U.S. permanent resident cardholders.
  • Applicants must declare a four-year major.
  • Applicants may receive only 1 scholarship.
  • Except where noted, applicants qualifying for scholarships may also apply for the Fourth Year Tuition-Free program and/or work assistance for additional financial aid.
  • Scholarship applications for the fall semester must be completed by June 15 (spring semester by December 1).

PCC college students have access to over 40 scholarships in addition to the scholarships above. Generous donors, alumni, and friends of the College make these scholarships available because of their desire to help students continue an education for service to the Lord.

Qualified students may apply for these scholarships before the deadline of April 1, to be applied to their accounts the following fall semester. Please contact the Admissions Office to help guide you through the process.

Forrest Reubin Ball Memorial Scholarship

A $1,000 scholarship to be awarded to a continuing freshman, sophomore, or junior majoring in Bible with missions concentration, to be applied over one semester.

Dr. Lynn Irwin Memorial Scholarship

$2,000 scholarship awarded to ministerial students, to be applied over one semester.

Melvin and Mary Jane Bere Memorial Scholarship

$1,000 scholarship awarded to a continuing sophomore or junior in missions, music ministry, pastoral ministry, or youth ministry, to be applied fall semester.

Faith Ministerial Scholarship (Pastoral or Missions)

A $3,150 scholarship awarded to a male student in pastoral ministries or missions, to be applied over one semester.

A $750 scholarship awarded to a continuing sophomore, junior, or senior in missions, to be applied over one semester.

Michael R. Baker Soulwinner Scholarship (Ministerial)

Scholarships of $1,000 each awarded to continuing ministerial sophomores, juniors, or seniors who have a financial need and a desire to win souls to Christ, to be applied over one semester.

Sylvia Briggs Taylor Scholarship (Female Missions)

A $500 scholarship awarded to a continuing junior or senior female missions student, to be applied over one semester.

Robert and Norma Vermeulen Memorial Scholarship

Scholarships of $500 each awarded to continuing sophomore, junior, or senior students with a major or concentration in pastoral ministries, music, music ministries, or music education, to be applied over one semester.

Eleanor Robson Scholarship (Church Music)

Up to $3,000 scholarship awarded in $1,000 increments to a continuing sophomore, to be applied during the 3rd, 5th, and 7th semesters of consecutive attendance.

Palmer and Becky Manning Scholarship

A $5,000 scholarship awarded to a pastoral ministries major, to be applied over a year.

A $1,000 scholarship awarded to a continuing freshman, sophomore, or junior majoring in elementary education, who exemplifies a desire to serve the Lord and to show love and compassion to their future students, to be applied over one semester.

A scholarship of $500 awarded to Computer Information Systems or Computer Science/Software Engineering majors, to be applied over one semester.

Christopher Joseph Barnhart Memorial Encouragement Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to encourage hard-working, average students who are making spiritual and academic progress. The scholarship provides a minimum of $500 or a maximum of $1,000 to sophomores, juniors, or seniors, to be applied over one semester.

Church Ministry Scholarship

A scholarship of $250 will be awarded to a student who is currently serving in the ministry of the Campus Church and maintains a 3.0 GPA, to be applied over one semester.

Crawford Memorial Scholarship

Scholarships of $1,000 each awarded to continuing sophomores or juniors, to be applied over one semester.

Dean Lay Scholarship

A $500 or $1,000 scholarship awarded to a continuing sophomore, junior, or senior, to be applied over a semester.

Tim Rammel Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to average students who have love and compassion for people. The scholarship provides a minimum of $500 or maximum of $1,000 to sophomores, juniors, or seniors, to be applied over one semester. Priority will be given to individuals who are diabetic.

Timothy Andrew Kaufman Memorial Scholarship

A $750 scholarship awarded to a continuing junior or senior, to be applied over a semester.

A $1,000 scholarship awarded to a student with a physical or sensory impairment, to be applied over one semester.

A $1,000 scholarship awarded to a continuing sophomore from the state of Maine, to be applied over one semester.

A $500 scholarship awarded to a continuing sophomore or junior, to be applied over one semester.

A scholarship of $500 will be awarded to a student diagnosed with a learning disability.
