PCC Scholarships

PCC keeps the cost of college even more affordable and predictable by offering scholarships. Specific scholarship amounts are set as 10% to 20% of current tuition and automatically increase correspondingly. The net value of scholarships over four years varies based on participation in the Fourth Year Tuition-Free program.

Read the details below to see if you qualify, then don’t wait to apply! A limited number are available to qualified students. You must be accepted to PCC to apply for scholarships.

Qualified students may apply for a scholarship for the fall semester by May 1 (spring semester by October 1). Please contact the Admissions Office to help guide you through the process.

PCC Scholarship Qualifications

  • Applicants must be U.S. or Canadian citizens or U.S. permanent resident cardholders.
  • Applicants must be a full-time student.
  • Applicants may receive only one PCC scholarship.
  • Applicants may also apply for the Fourth Year Tuition-Free program and/or work assistance for additional financial aid except where noted.

PCC reserves the right to change these scholarship programs at its discretion.

Pensacola Christian College grants acceptance based on academic requirements and the applicant’s alignment with the institution’s sincerely held beliefs published in the Articles of Faith, maintaining its constitutional and statutory right to act in furtherance of its religious objective.   • Available to a qualified applicant who has a parent serving full-time in a Christian ministry that is Bible-believing. By “full-time ministry” we mean pastor, missionary, Christian school teacher, etc.
  • The scholarship will be reviewed for renewal each year by the Scholarship Committee. An individual recipient’s scholarship may be canceled at any time at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee on the recommendation of the College Administration.
  • Recipients receive a tuition benefit up to $9,000 (approximately $2,250 annually; 15% of total tuition) up to eight semesters of attendance after approval. If the student is enrolled in the Fourth Year Tuition-Free program, scholarship payments will not be applied during semesters the student is receiving the Fourth Year Tuition-Free benefit.

  • Available to a qualified male applicant who has declared a Bible major with a concentration in pastoral ministries, aspires to pursue ordination for ministry, and comes from a church that is Bible-believing.
  • Applicants must have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.00 or higher.
  • Recipients must maintain a 2.00 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • Recipients receive a tuition benefit up to $12,000 (approximately $3,000 annually; 20% of total tuition) up to eight semesters of attendance after approval. If the student is enrolled in the Fourth Year Tuition-Free program, scholarship payments will not be applied during semesters the student is receiving the Fourth Year Tuition-Free benefit.

  • Available to a qualified applicant who has declared an education major.
  • Applicants must have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.00 or higher.
  • Recipients must maintain a 2.00 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • Recipients receive a tuition benefit up to $12,000 (approximately $3,000 annually; 20% of total tuition) up to eight semesters of attendance after approval. If the student is enrolled in the Fourth Year Tuition-Free program, scholarship payments will not be applied during semesters the student is receiving the Fourth Year Tuition-Free benefit.

  • Available to an applicant who qualifies in one of the following ways:
    • Applicant was honorably discharged from the U.S. armed forces (must submit DD Form 214 showing at least 3 years of active duty or 6 years in Selected Reserve)
    • Applicant is completing a 6-year obligation in the Selected Reserve or has been honorably discharged from the Selected Reserve due to disability (must submit DD Form 2384-1 or DD 214)
    • Parent currently serving in the U.S. armed forces on active duty or Selected Reserve (must submit parent’s military personnel record showing at least 6 years of service)
    • Parent honorably discharged from the U.S. armed forces (active duty or Selected Reserve—must submit parent’s military personnel record or DD Form 214 showing at least 10 years of service)
    • Parent served in the U.S. armed forces and died or was permanently and totally disabled while on active duty (must submit parent’s DD Form 214). Check with the Admissions Office for possible funding availability from a private scholarship.
  • Recipients receive a tuition benefit up to $6,000 (approximately $1,500 annually; 10% of total tuition) up to eight semesters of attendance after approval. If the student is enrolled in the Fourth Year Tuition-Free program, scholarship payments will not be applied during semesters the student is receiving the Fourth Year Tuition-Free benefit.

  • Available to an applicant who qualifies in one of the following ways:
    • Graduates as valedictorian or salutatorian of a class of six or more students
    • Scores a minimum composite score of 25 on the ACT
    • Scores a minimum total of 1200 on the SAT
    • Scores a minimum total of 83 on the CLT (80 if taken prior to April 26, 2023 on the CLT)
    If the applicant is the valedictorian or salutatorian, we must receive a letter from the school administrator verifying that fact. If the applicant’s qualification is based on his ACT, SAT, or CLT score, he must have an official copy of his score sent directly to the College. This can be done automatically if you specify our college ACT number 0707 or our SAT number 5970 or if you choose PCC from the list of CLT colleges when you register for these tests.
  • Applicants must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.50 or higher.
  • Recipients must maintain a 3.20 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • Recipients receive a tuition benefit up to $9,000 (approximately $2,250 annually; 15% of total tuition) up to eight semesters of attendance after approval. If the student is enrolled in the Fourth Year Tuition-Free program, scholarship payments will not be applied during semesters the student is receiving the Fourth Year Tuition-Free benefit.

  • Available to a qualified applicant whose parent graduated from PCC in a four-year undergraduate program.
  • Recipients receive a tuition benefit up to $6,000 (approximately $1,500 annually; 10% of total tuition) up to eight semesters of attendance after approval. If the student is enrolled in the Fourth Year Tuition-Free program, scholarship payments will not be applied during semesters the student is receiving the Fourth Year Tuition-Free benefit.

  • Available to a qualified applicant who completed at least a full 12th grade enrollment through Abeka Academy.
  • Recipients must be enrolled as a student at PCC and attending within one year of high school graduation.
  • The scholarship amount is calculated by totaling the tuition fees paid (Grades 9–12) for video homeschool courses taken through Abeka Academy. The tuition benefit amount is divided up to eight semesters of attendance after approval. Student must complete consecutive semesters as a full-time student to continue to receive the scholarship benefit.
  • May not be combined with the Fourth Year Tuition-Free program.

  • Available to a qualified applicant who has declared a Bible major with a concentration in biblical counseling, biblical studies, general studies, missions, music ministry or youth ministry, and comes from a church that is Bible-believing.
  • Applicants must have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.00 or higher.
  • Recipients must maintain a 2.00 GPA each year (not cumulative) at Pensacola Christian College in order to receive the benefit of the scholarship. Students who forfeit the scholarship because of grade point average will forfeit the benefit for future years.
  • Recipients receive a tuition benefit up to $12,000 (approximately $3,000 annually; 20% of total tuition) up to eight semesters of attendance after approval. If the student is enrolled in the Fourth Year Tuition-Free program, scholarship payments will not be applied during semesters the student is receiving the Fourth Year Tuition-Free benefit.

PCC Matching Scholarship

Pensacola Christian College will match church and Christian school scholarship gifts for current PCC students with a minimum of $250 up to $1,000 per academic year per student. See the guidelines for more information.

To participate in the Matching Scholarship, please submit this application with payment to Pensacola Christian College, no later than September 15 for fall semester or February 15 for spring semester. Scholarship checks should be made out to Pensacola Christian College.

Commencement Scholarships

PCC students have access to an additional 40+ scholarships provided by generous donors: alumni and friends of the College who desire to help students continue an education for service to the Lord.

Qualified students may apply for these scholarships on Eagle’s Nest before the deadline of April 1, and winners will be printed in the Commencement Program. All scholarships will be applied to the winners’ college accounts the following fall semester. Please contact the Business Office to help guide you through the process or for questions regarding a student’s college account.

$1,000 scholarships each awarded to continuing sophomores, juniors, or seniors with a pastoral or youth ministries concentration who have a financial need and a desire to win souls to Christ, to be applied over one semester.

Charles Reubin Ball Memorial Scholarship

$1,000 scholarship awarded to a student with a music or music education major or music ministries concentration who has a financial need, to be applied over one semester.

Forrest Reubin Ball Memorial Scholarship

$1,000 scholarship awarded to a continuing freshman, sophomore, or junior with a missions concentration, to be applied over one semester.

Melvin and Mary Jane Bere Memorial Scholarship

$1,000 scholarship awarded to a continuing sophomore or junior with a missions, music ministries, pastoral ministries, or youth ministries concentration who has a financial need, to be applied in the fall semester.

“The Called” Ministerial Scholarship

$2,000 scholarships awarded to male juniors with a pastoral ministries or youth ministries concentration, to be applied in the fall semester.

Faith Ministerial Scholarship

$3,150 scholarship awarded to a male student with a pastoral ministries or missions concentration, to be applied over one semester.

Jadon Goins Memorial Scholarship

$1,900 scholarship awarded to a student who is planning to serve the Lord on the mission field, to be applied over two semesters. Priority will be given to students with a missions or pastoral ministries concentration.

Dr. Lynn E. Irwin Memorial Scholarship

$2,000 scholarship awarded to students with a pastoral ministries or youth ministries concentration, to be applied over one semester.

Palmer and Becky Manning Scholarship

$5,000 scholarship awarded to a student with a pastoral ministries concentration, to be applied over a year.

Eleanor Robson Scholarship

Up to $3,000 scholarship awarded in $1,000 increments to a continuing sophomore with a criminal justice major, secondary education major with a science or biology concentration, or music ministries concentration who has a financial need, to be applied in the 3rd, 5th, and 7th semesters of consecutive attendance.

Harold D. Suttles, Jr., Legal and Missionary Scholarship Fund

$750 scholarship awarded to a continuing sophomore, junior, or senior with a missions concentration or pre-law emphasis who has a financial need, to be applied over one semester.

$1,000 scholarship awarded to incoming freshmen who have graduated from Victory Christian Academy or Apopka Christian Academy, to be applied over one year. Priority will be given to students with a Natural Sciences major, or a missions or pastoral ministries concentration.

Dean Lay Scholarship

$500 or $1,000 scholarship awarded to a continuing sophomore, junior, or senior who has a financial need, to be applied over one semester.

Mephibosheth Scholarship

$1,000 scholarship awarded to a student with a physical or sensory impairment, to be applied over one semester.

Puzzle Scholarship

$500 scholarship awarded to a student diagnosed with a learning disability, to be applied in the fall semester.

Tim Rammel Memorial Scholarship

$500–$1,000 scholarship awarded to average sophomores, juniors, or seniors who have love and compassion for people and who have a financial need, to be applied over one semester. Priority will be given to individuals who are diabetic.

Ben and Terica Summerlin Memorial Scholarship

$2,000 scholarships each awarded to continuing sophomores, juniors, or seniors who have a financial need, to be applied over one semester.
