Main Drive (East)

The bird’s–eye view from Rice Tower’s roof overlooks many campus buildings. Near the center is the Library located within the Academic Center (AC)—one of the three buildings used to host student classes. Take the left sidewalk past the Library, and you’ll find the tennis courts. Used for recreational and academic needs, the convenient location is enjoyed by students for a fun activity. Farther down the sidewalk is Four Winds—one of two campus dining facilities. Straight past the AC is the front entrance to the Commons (a study and hangout spot). On the camera’s right and left sides are six of the seven residence halls. In the distance you can catch a glimpse of the planetarium dome located on the MacKenzie Building (MK) and the iconic entrance of the Crowne Centre (the home church for students while they are in college).
