Library Resources
The Rebekah Horton Library contains nearly 250,000 holdings and more than 208 current periodicals.
Students have access to more than four million online journals, periodicals, eBooks, and other electronic resources. Interlibrary Loan service is also available through the OCLC database, providing access through a bibliographic retrieval system to resources held by more than 10,000 libraries worldwide. Audiovisual materials and equipment, music scores, and teaching aids such as flash cards are also available for students.
Facilities and Services
The six-floor library offers conference rooms, small study rooms, collaborative and independent study zones, a Digital Media Lab with over 30 computers, and seating for almost 900 people. Wireless internet access, printing and copying, and phone charging stations are available throughout the library. The makerspace area offers equipment to create educational visuals.
Research Center
Students needing research assistance can visit the Research Center and speak to trained staff about research techniques, including finding resources and navigating databases. Virtual research assistance is also available by appointment.
Bible Manuscript Room & One-Room Schoolhouse
Tour the Bible Manuscript Room for a museum-quality exhibit of unique Bibles that demonstrate
God’s providential care in preserving His Word through the centuries. You’ll see the work of
dedicated Jews and Christians who meticulously translated, scribed, or printed the Scriptures in Hebrew,
Greek, Latin, and English.
Visit the One-Room Schoolhouse to see historical and educational materials exhibited in an
old-fashioned classroom setting. Textbooks from the previous century are available for reading and research and are cataloged on the library website.
Tours given by knowledgeable guides are available weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and weekends by appointment except during holidays and college breaks. Tours begin at the library Circulation Desk.
