To help ensure a smooth transition each semester, follow the procedures below.
Residence Halls close Sat., Dec. 14 at 9 a.m.
When can students begin leaving? Exams are scheduled through 1 p.m. on Thurs., Dec. 12. Students may begin leaving after Wednesday’s closing convocation on Dec. 11 if they have finished final exams, officially checked out of their residence hall room, and completed all work responsibilities.
Late Departure Students may stay in the residence hall after the end of the semester until 9 a.m. on Sat., Dec. 14. Each overnight stay beginning Dec. 12 will incur a $40 late departure charge which covers the cost of your room and dining on campus. All meals through breakfast the following morning are included. Students working on campus until 4 p.m. or later will not be charged the overnight fee that night.
Students who need to leave early due to extenuating circumstances may request to leave early through the Student Life Office. Submit your request no later than two weeks before the close of the semester. A $50 fee may be incurred for an early White Glove check. Approval to move an exam time will incur a $50 fee per exam.
Residence hall students arrive and check in between 8 a.m. on Sat., Jan. 18, and 2 p.m. on Sun., Jan. 19.
New students check in at the Administration Building, open 8 a.m.–10 p.m., to receive their PCC Card and campus access information.

Commuter students check in between 8 a.m. on Fri., Jan. 17, and 2 p.m. on Sun., Jan. 19.

Requests will open Jan. 7 on Eagle’s Nest.
Requests If you need to arrive and check in before your scheduled time, you must submit a request on Eagle’s Nest by Tues., Jan. 14. Approval is based on your circumstances and requested date of check-in. A response will be sent to your student email.
Students who arrive on campus for early check-in without having requested and been given approval may be denied check-in and residence hall accommodation.
Cost The fee for checking in early is $40 per day, which covers the cost of your room and dining on campus.
Check-In Location All arrivals prior to Fri., Jan. 17, check in at the Administration Building, open 8 a.m.–10 p.m. Beginning Fri., Jan. 17, returning students can check in at their residence hall lobby and new students check in at the Administration Building, open 8 a.m.–10 p.m.
Requests If circumstances prevent you from arriving and checking in by 2 p.m., Sun., Jan. 19, let us know about your situation.
